Graduate Alumni Kaitlyn Elliot has just graduated from NIDA, and is now on her way to Prague with the Australian Shakespeare Company Graduate Players program.
Early in 2019 the ASC Graduate Players began work on a streamlined and musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s much loved comedy, Much Ado About Nothing. In May 2019, it will complete a short Melbourne season of 4 performances and tour to regional Victoria, before heading to Prague. This program gives participants the opportunity to work with professional ASC staff, including directors, musical director, choreographer and actors over a 12-week period as the show is rehearsed and actors are coached in Shakespeare techniques and acting methodologies.
Kobey Hudec was the recent recipient of a Georgy Award for Best Junior Singing (Male) for his role as Sonny in Xanadu Jr by BYTEsized Productions which played at the Albury Entertainment Centre in June 2018.

George Pullar, in whose memory the awards are named, was involved in all facets of theatre in Shepparton and district in the 1950s and 1960s. He acted, directed, was an expert in make-up and knowledgeable in all aspects of theatrical procedure. He was President of the GV Drama Association and assisted in many early productions of the Shepparton Light Music Company.Return to all news
