At VCASS, every student is supported to thrive – personally, socially and creatively. Our wellbeing approach is grounded in care, respect and connection, ensuring students feel safe, valued and empowered to grow. From counselling to peer programs, wellbeing is woven into every part of school life.

Wellbeing at VCASS is proactive, holistic and embedded in our daily culture. We recognise that for young artists to achieve their best, they must feel secure, connected and understood. Our programs focus on nurturing emotional, mental, physical and social wellbeing across all year levels.

Students are supported through a coordinated network of staff, including counsellors, a clinical psychologist, health professionals and dedicated teachers. Together, they provide early intervention, practical guidance and personalised care tailored to each student’s needs.

We foster a strong sense of belonging through student leadership and peer programs, celebrating diversity and encouraging open communication.

We all get to express ourselves and who we are, we don’t all have to fit into one box
