After attending VCASS from 1993 to 1995, Chantel then graduated from the Australian Ballet School in 1999 and joined the Hong Kong Ballet in January 2000.  Promoted through the ranks to Senior Soloist and danced the principle roles in Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations, Rubies and Concerto Barocco. Joined English National Ballet in 2009, the role of Myrtha, Queen of the Willis in Giselle, for the Queen at Buckingham Palace, on the main stage at Glastonbury music festival 2014 and in the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. Retrained as a Pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates UK, returned to Melbourne in December 2015.
