Young soloists and ensembles from the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School present a program exploring interactions between young people and technology featuring the world premiere of Stefan Cassomenos’ Terms and Conditions.

Cassomenos compiles text from consumed sources such as memes and Instagram posts to shine a spotlight on the inherent contradictions facing the youth of today, while Bates implants electronica and improvisation into an orchestral score.

The program also features Schnittke’s modern take on two master composers with Moz-Art à la Haydn for String Orchestra and Dvorak’s radiant and majestic Bohemian flavoured 8th Symphony, conducted by the revered Fabian Russell.
