Berthe Mouchette Poetry Competition 2025 – Finalists Announced! 

Bonjour à toutes et à tous,

Un grand bravo à tous les élèves qui ont participé au Concours de récitation de poésie Berthe Mouchette 2025.

With over 5,500 students participating across Victoria, this was a strong showing.

Many of our students received high scores, including “Excellent” and “Brillant (Finalist)” results. This reflects the effort they put into preparing and performing their poems in French.

Year 8: Sienna Lee
Year 9: Aspen Edwards, Emily Holloway, Inouk Majcen, Jake McDonnell, Leo Puech, Sola Takeda, Scarlett Weaver, Jasper Zajacek-Tieu
Year 10: Siyona Goel, Ebony Veitch

These students will now proceed to the final round, which will be held online later this term.

All participants will receive an official certificate from the Alliance Française early in Term 4, recognising their involvement and effort in the competition.
