We are thrilled to celebrate Ethan, who has achieved an outstanding result in the 2025 Alliance Française Berthe Mouchette Competition. Competing in the Year 11 Oral category as a Year 10 student, Ethan was awarded 1st Prize, an extraordinary achievement in a field that included thousands of students across Victoria.

Ethan received his prize at the official Awards Ceremony at Melbourne’s iconic Capitol Theatre, presented in front of dignitaries including the new Consul General of France, Paule Ignatio. The evening recognised the remarkable accomplishments of students who stood out among more than 7,000 participants in Australia’s largest French language competition.

This accomplishment reflects Ethan’s dedication, talent and thoughtful commitment to his French studies, and we could not be more delighted for him.
