VCASS alumna Olivia Spirou has been selected as a member of the 2026 cohort of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s QSO Academy, a prestigious six-month professional development program designed to support outstanding emerging orchestral musicians as they transition into the profession. Olivia joins a cohort of seven exceptional young Australian musicians, all recent graduates of advanced tertiary programs, who will focus on refining their technical skills, preparing for orchestral auditions and developing sustainable career pathways. Olivia’s selection is a significant achievement and reflects her continued development as an emerging orchestral violinist.
