The Melbourne Mozart Project, Sunday 26 April @ fortyfivedownstairs.

Our recent performance of a Mozart concerto was a memorable experience that was very exciting and challenging for the performers. Abby, Jack and I each performed an entire piano concerto by Mozart, performing with a string quartet. We all enjoyed hearing each other’s interpretations of the concertos. Preparing for the Mozart concertos was quite difficult, as it required a high level of technical ability and stylistic understanding. Despite the challenges, the experience was incredibly fun and fulfilling, and it was a privilege to perform with a professional string quartet in front of an audience. Thank you to the string quartet which included VCASS alumni Ioana Tache and Lachlan McKie, and Josephine Vains (VCASS staff) for their time and effort to rehearse and perform with us. Thank you also to the organisers Coady Green and Glenn Riddle (VCASS teachers), and to the guests who came to listen to the performance.
