BRISBANE INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY DANCE PRIX

VCASS Dancers achieved great success at the 2023 Brisbane International Contemporary Dance Prix held in September, from the 25th to the 30th. Six dancers were selected for the competition, Braelan (Senior Competition), Pearl, Tawhia, Ashlinn, Mikayla and Martin (Junior Competition). Tawhia received an offer for a secondment at Sydney Dance Company pre-professional year, while Martin, Ashlinn and Braelan were all selected for the final. The latter three performed exceptionally in the final and all received various offers of internships and entry to tertiary dance programs. Braelan was awarded runner up in the Seniors Category, a fabulous achievement considering the standard of the dancers attending this event.
